Michael Jagger started Provident Security Corp “to pay for my college tuition back in 1996.” He hired friends to work with him, providing security at high school dances, and branched out into a bike patrol business. There he saw a need. “I was one of the guys out riding a bike and I kept seeing that alarms were going off and nothing was happening. We began to offer a five-minute response service in a small geographic area and that took off.”

Mike Jagger, owner of Provident Security, said it only took 36 hours to track down a young teen caught on video last week. Jagger said the boy was filmed walking up to the back of the Provident Security building last Thursday night and spraying his tag on a diesel generator. A graffiti tag is the personalized signature or symbol of the writer.
