Our family recently moved into a new (to us) home in
Kerrisdale. We are not doing any renovations for a while, and as a result, had
to install a completely wireless alarm system (because running wires in the
home was impractical).
We installed a very extensive alarm system incorporating
every level of intrusion as well as environmental detection… all wirelessly. This has provided me an opportunity to test out, in my own home, almost every wireless device that

much thicker. It is essentially a six button keyfob, that is designed to be
attached to the wall. I used double sided tape to mount the unit to the wall in
our master bedroom.

is technically capable, we will not program any of these units to have a

no graphical display, the unit cannot tell you which zones are open or any
other type of status… but as a simple method of arming your alarm or performing
some other on/off type function, it is a great device that can be installed
anywhere in your home or garage.
