I believe that you are being very narrow minded Al if you think for a second that Shaw installers know nothing about phones or alarms. By the sound of your comments I believe you may have had a bad experience with Shaw and you blame everyone. How adult of you. I found the installer very informative with my installation of my phone service and also reported to me that the Alarm installer was lazy and wired my alarm wrong because he had no idea what he was doing. Had to call the alarm company back to re-install. So before we slam technicians in any trade I would hope that you do some investigating first and get some facts before spewing forth.

Thanks
A Very Happy Shaw Digital Phone and Alarm customer.

Hi Mike:
May I be one of the first to congratulate you on taking a stand and exposing Shaw for what they really are. A bunch of liar's. I have lost at least three accounts because their technicians know absolutely nothing about alarm systems and how they work. They know even less about telephone systems. I have posted a warning on my website about shaw and forewarned my clients to test their alarms before their "tech" leaves. They don't have a clue.
Good on you!
